Japanese Pre Teen How Is Anime Not Cartoons?

How is anime not cartoons? - japanese pre teen

With all the definitions that I read
Anime is Japanese animation "
Definition of cartoon animation.
for them
Anime is cartoons.

Definitions:

The American Heritage Dictionary ":
ANIME - A style of animation developed in Japan.
ANIMATION-a caricature.

From the "Online Etymology Dictionary":
Anime - Japanese animation ", a term that seems to have originated in the 1970s, apparently on the basis of the word, Eng.

So, my understanding (that is, I'm not blind) and the dictionary definition (the law) is actually animated,
was produced, written, spoken, (ECT) in a different language.
This is called a German cartoon, a cartoon, right?

My question is:
Why do so many weeaboos ',' otaku ',' pre teens worried people ", or simply not cartoons for death?
To say that there is a big difference if it is not, in fact it?

I think we can say that anime is in the context of cartoons, but the reason why people say the manga is a comic book, because art is a style that prefer very different from most of the cartoons and people, not both.
In addition, the anime almost a cult in these days, so I think it deserves a different title.
Not that it spoke in Japanese, but the fact they use the style of Japanese art.
